Swift Ecology News

The end of 2019 marked the close of a significant era for Swift Ecology, with the retirement of Johnny Birks.

Johnny will be well known to many people, having had a long and illustrious career at the former Nature Conservancy Council and the Vincent Wildlife Trust before becoming one of the founders of Swift in 2007.

Johnny’s extensive experience and detailed mammal knowledge has been critical to the development of the company and he will be sorely missed. However, he won’t be saying goodbye totally and we are lining up plenty of subcontracting work for him! Enjoy your (kind of) retirement Johnny!
